Jordan Nature is dedicated to safeguarding the personal information you provide to us. Please examine our Privacy Policy (referred to as “Policy”) for additional information on how we gather and process your personal information. By using our website or the services we provide, you agree that we may use the personal information you supply to us in the ways specified herein. Please do not use our services if you do not agree to our use of your information. 1. About this policy
In order to conduct our business duties and activities, such as making and managing travel bookings on behalf of our clients, we need to collect, utilize, and disclose personal information. With numerous physical, technical, and procedural precautions, we are strongly committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of personal information. We assume the position of “data processor” or “data controller” for any personal information you supply to us in connection with our relationship for the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”). The precise role played is determined by the context of our contact with you and the aim of personal data processing.
Jordan Nature will be the data controller for the supply of retail travel services, and this Policy will govern that.
2. What personal information do we collect?
Personal information has the meaning set forth in your local data protection law, as well as the GDPR’s definition of personal data, where applicable. In general, we collect personal information about you in order to enable your travel reservations and bookings, as well as to arrange travel-related services and/or products on your behalf.
We therefore typically process the following types of personal information about you:
- contact information (such as name, residential/mailing address, telephone number, email address);
passport details;
- payment account information (credit/debit card details, including card type, card number, security number and expiry date);
- information about your dietary requirements and health issues (if any); and
When you contact us for other reasons, we may collect personal information about you for those purposes as well. For example, we may gather personal information from you so that we can contact you about a competition you entered (e.g., if you win) or to respond to an inquiry or feedback you have provided us. We also gather information that is necessary for Jordan Nature’s business operations, such as financial information required to conduct various transactions and any relevant personal information you may choose to supply to us.
We may gather personal information from you that may be considered sensitive information under your local data protection regulations in some instances. Your racial or ethnic background, philosophical or religious beliefs or connections, sexual choices or behaviors, and health information are all examples of sensitive information. We will only collect sensitive information if it is reasonably necessary for, or directly related to, one or more of our functions or activities, in accordance with your local data protection laws, with your explicit consent, and where it is reasonably necessary for, or directly related to, one or more of our functions or activities (e.g. to make travel arrangements), Unless we are required or authorized by law to do otherwise. You consent to us using and disclosing your sensitive information for the purpose for which it was acquired, to the extent permitted or required by your local data protection laws, unless we later receive your consent to use it for another reason.
3. How do we collect personal information?
Personal information will only be collected in accordance with your local data protection regulations. We normally obtain your personal information through the data you provide to us over the course of our business relationship.
In most cases, this type of collection will occur when you:

Personal information about you may be collected if you:
Purchase travel arrangements or other products and services, or inquire about them;
Enter competitions or sign up for exclusive offers.

Unless you choose to do so under a pseudonym or anonymously, we may also collect your personal information (except sensitive information) when you complete surveys or provide us with feedback.
It may be essential for us to obtain personal information about you from a third party in specific circumstances. This covers situations where someone makes a travel reservation on your behalf that includes travel plans that you will utilize, and vice versa (i.e. a group booking made for you by your friend or a group making made for a friend by you). We shall rely on the authority of the individual making the trip booking as the Lead passenger to act on behalf of any other passengers on the booking in this situation. The Lead Passenger certifies that the other person has given Travel Talk their consent to collect, use, and disclose their personal information in line with this Policy.
If you become aware that another person has supplied your personal information to us without your consent, or if you did not get consent before providing another person’s personal information to us, you should notify us immediately.
We make every effort to keep the personal information we store accurate; nevertheless, you can help us a lot by notifying us as soon as there are any changes to your personal information or if you become aware that we have inaccurate personal information about you (see section 11 below). We shall not be liable for any losses caused by inaccurate, inauthentic, insufficient, or incomplete personal information provided to us by you or someone acting on your behalf.
4. How do we use your personal information?
We will only use your information in the following situations:
The processing is necessary to provide our services to you; the processing is necessary to comply with our legal obligations; and/or the processing is necessary for our legitimate interests or those of any third party recipients who receive your personal information (and you may withdraw your consent at any time, as detailed in section 7); and/or the processing is necessary for our legitimate interests or those of any third party recipients who receive your personal information (detailed in sections 5 and 6)
When you contact us about a trip booking or enquiry, we collect your personal information in order to offer you with travel advice and/or assist you with booking travel and/or travel-related products and services. However, based on the specific circumstances described in this Policy, the purpose for collection may vary (e.g. collection of your personal information for the purpose of your participation in a competition, provision of feedback, etc.).
We normally operate as an agent for the appropriate travel service providers when you book or otherwise arrange travel-related items and services through us (e.g. for a hotel). In this instance, we process your personal data to the extent necessary to offer the services you have requested. This normally entails gathering personal data about you for both our internal purposes as outlined in this Policy and for the travel service provider for whom we work as an agent (e.g. to provide you with the booked services). If you book pre-accommodation with us, for example, we will use your personal information to book your accommodation and will only share it with the hotel for this purpose.
As a result, we may share your information with our travel service partners, such as hotels, airlines, car rental companies, and other companies that help you arrange your journey. We recommend that you read the privacy policies of any third-party travel service providers whose products you buy from us. On request, we will send you copies of all applicable travel service provider terms, conditions, and privacy policies. Please see section 6 for more information on the disclosure of personal information to overseas travel service providers.

We also collect personal information for the following reasons:
Providing you with services and tools that you choose to use (for example, saving travel preferences to a wishlist on our websites or saving personal information to allow for pre-population of online forms);
Developing and upgrading our own products and services, as well as the products and services of our affiliated companies;
Servicing our connection with you by, for example, building and maintaining a customer profile so that our brands can better serve you, or displaying alternatives on our website that we believe you would be interested in based on your browsing and preferences;
Involving you in market research, determining customer satisfaction, and soliciting feedback on our relationship with you and/or the service we have provided;
To make it easier for you to participate in reward programs and online contests;
For internal research and analysis relating to our company and services, such as trends and preferences in sales and travel locations, as well as the use of our websites;
Accounting and administration on the inside;
Detection of deception or error;
Reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements;
Observance of our legal duties, as well as any applicable customs/immigration regulations pertaining to your travel; and
Unless you have requested not to receive such material, we may use your personal information to send you targeted marketing activity relating to our products and services (and those of third parties) that we believe may be of interest to you, where authorized by local data protection regulations. Mailings, electronic marketing, and notifications, among other things, are examples of these. If you have opted-in to receive electronic marketing materials (such as e-newsletters, email, or SMS), we will only use your personal information to send them to you.
Please see the “Feedback & Contact” section below if you no longer want to receive promotional/marketing material from us, participate in market research, or get other sorts of communication from us (section 11). By following the unsubscribe prompt in any email or other form of electronic marketing you get from us, you can opt out of receiving electronic marketing materials. Please consult the “Your rights” part of this Policy (Section 7) to learn about your ability to opt out or limit the use of your browsing behavior for online behavioral advertising at any time.
5. Is personal information disclosed to third parties?
Your personal information is never sold, rented, or traded by us. We will only share your personal information with third parties in the manner described in this Policy, including those described below, and in line with the laws in your country. When we say “disclose” in this Policy, we mean that we will transfer, share (both verbally and in writing), send, or otherwise make your personal information available to another person or entity.
The following sorts of third parties may have access to your personal information:
our contractors, suppliers, and service providers, including without limitation: in each of the situations described in section 4 (“How do we use your personal information?”);
suppliers of IT-based solutions that assist us in providing services to you (such as any external data hosting providers we may use);

travel service providers (such as travel wholesalers, tour operators, airlines, hotels, car rental companies, transfer handlers, and other related service providers);
any person or entity to whom we assign or novate any of our rights or responsibilities;
a person who makes your travel arrangements on your behalf (for example, a family member, friend, or coworker);
a person who can verify to us that they have a relationship with you (e.g., a family member), that the person correctly answers our required security questions, and that the request is, in our opinion, in your best interests (for example, where the person is concerned for your welfare or needs to take action on your behalf due to unforeseen circumstances);
to comply with our legal duties and as needed or authorized by applicable legislation;
customs and immigration to ensure that we meet our legal duties as well as any applicable customs/immigration procedures for your trip;
To comply with a valid and authorized request, such as a court order or other valid legal procedure, by government agencies and public authorities;
a variety of regulatory bodies and law enforcement officials and agencies, including to protect against fraud and for related security purposes; and enforcement agencies where we suspect that unlawful activity has been or may be perpetrated and the personal information is a necessary part of our investigation or reporting of the matter.
Aside from the aforementioned exceptions, we will not disclose your personal information without your consent unless we reasonably believe it is necessary to lessen or prevent a threat to an individual’s or the public’s life, health, or safety, or for a specific action to be taken by an enforcement body (e.g., the prevention, detection, investigation, prosecution, or punishment of criminal offences), or where such disclosure is authorized or required by law (including the aforementioned exceptions).
You may choose to use certain features on our websites that are available through or for which we partner with businesses that are not otherwise affiliated with us. These services, which include social networking and geo-location capabilities, are run by third parties, such as social networks, and are prominently labeled as such. Personal information may be used or shared by these third parties in accordance with their own privacy policies. If you use the relevant functions, we highly advise you to study the privacy policies of third parties.
6. Is personal information transferred overseas?
As described below, we may release your personal information to select international recipients. We’ll make sure that any international transfers are either required by your local data privacy legislation or are necessary for the fulfilment of a contract between you and the overseas receiver (e.g. GDPR). On request, we will send you copies of the applicable safeguard documentation (see section 11 below).
It’s possible that your information will be transferred to an overseas recipient (other than one of our overseas related entities) in a jurisdiction where you won’t be able to seek redress under your local data protection laws and where data protection isn’t at the same level as in your jurisdiction. We shall not be liable for how these foreign receivers handle, retain, or process your personal information to the degree permitted by your local data protection regulations.
Travel service providers based in other countries
It may be essential for us to share personal information to applicable international travel service providers in order to offer our services to you. We work with a variety of travel service providers from across the world. Personal information is often received by relevant travel service providers in the country where they will provide services to you or where their firm is located.
Our third-party service providers are based in other countries.
We may also release your personal information to third parties based outside of the United States who perform services for us, such as data storage and processing. We will only share your personal information with these overseas recipients in order to facilitate your travel booking and/or to allow them to provide administrative services on our behalf.
7. Your rights in relation to the personal information we collect
If you wish, you may:
restrict or stop us from using any of the personal information we hold on you, including by withdrawing any consent you have previously given to the processing of such information; or where any personal information has been processed on the basis of your consent or as necessary to perform a contract to which you are a party, request a copy of such personal information in a suitable format.
You can do so by sending an email to the address listed in section 11 below. You will receive confirmation of your request, as well as information on when you may expect to receive your information pack. We try to respond to such requests within a month or less, though we reserve the right to prolong this time if the request is particularly difficult.
We reserve the right to refuse access to you for any reason permitted by law. National security, business financing, and confidential references are examples of such exemptions. If we reject access or rectification, we will give you with written reasons for the denial unless it is unreasonable to do so, and we will record your request and the denial in our records, as required by local data protection regulations. Any additional correspondence about your request should be sent in writing to the Data Protection Officer at the address listed in section 11 below.
Please be aware that requesting that we restrict or stop using personal information we hold on you, or withdrawing a consent you have previously granted to the processing of such information, may limit our capacity to provide services to you or have a negative impact on the services we can provide. Most trip arrangements, for example, must be made in the passenger’s full name and contain contact information and relevant identification (e.g. passport details). Without those information, we will be unable to make reservations for you.
You commit to supply truthful information at all times and to update it as needed. You also agree that, in the absence of any updates, we can presume that the information you provide to us is correct, unless we later learn otherwise. You can opt out of receiving marketing emails from us at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in the marketing emails you receive from us or contacting us as mentioned below (section 11).
In any of the scenarios indicated above, we may ask you to verify your identity by providing a copy of a valid form of identification so that we can meet our security requirements and avoid unauthorized exposure of personal information. We retain the right to charge you a fair administrative fee for any requests for access to your personal information that are plainly unwarranted or excessive, as well as any further copies of personal information you request from us.
8. Information Security
We are committed to safeguarding and protecting your personal information by establishing different physical, electronic, and managerial security policies to prevent loss and misuse, as well as unauthorized access, modification, disclosure, and interference. Jordan Nature will assess security technology on a regular basis and will make every effort to secure your personal information as thoroughly as we protect our own private data. Jordan Nature is not liable for any third-party actions or security controls relating to information that third parties may collect or handle through their websites, services, or other means. Once we no longer require personal information for our business purposes, or as required by law, we will erase or de-identify it.
9. Integrations with social media
Social media features and widgets (such as “Like” and “Share” buttons/widgets) may be used on our websites and mobile applications. These are provided and operated by third-party companies (such as Facebook, Twitter, and others), and they are either hosted by a third-party or directly on our website or mobile application. Such features may gather information such as the page you’re on on our website/app, your IP address, and set cookies in order for the feature to work properly.
If you’re connected into a third-party account, that company may be able to link information about your visit to and usage of our website to your social network account with them.
Similarly, third parties may record your interactions using social network services.
Furthermore, the third party company may send us information, such as your name, profile picture, gender, friend lists, and any other information you have chosen to make available, in accordance with their policies, and we may share information with the third party company for the purpose of serving targeted marketing to you via the third party social media platform. Through the privacy settings for the third-party social media platform, you can control the sharing of information and opt out of targeted marketing.

10. Tracking Technologies & Cookies
On our websites and mobile apps, we may employ third-party web analytics providers (such as Google, Facebook, affiliate tracking etc.). Cookies and web beacons are used by the analytics providers who manage these services to help us understand how visitors use our websites and apps.
Our servers may capture data about your device and the network you are using to connect with us, including your IP address, when you access our website, open electronic correspondence, or get communications from us. An IP address is a set of digits that uniquely identifies your computer and is often assigned when you connect to the internet. We may utilize IP addresses for system administration, security investigations, and the compilation of anonymized statistics about how people use our website and/or mobile apps. IP addresses may also be linked to other personal information we have about you and used for the purposes indicated above (e.g. to tailored online advertising, provided you have opted in).
Our websites may also contain links to third party websites over which we have no control over. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such websites and encourage you to read the privacy policies of any linked third party websites you visit.
What is a Cookie?
A cookie is a short file placed on a user’s computer that is designed to hold a limited bit of data specific to a single client and website and may be retrieved by the web server or the client computer. When you visit a website, a cookie may be used to track your browser’s activity and offer you with a more consistent, efficient experience.
How does Jordan Nature use cookies?
Cookies may be used to speed up the booking process by preventing you from having to fill in the same information multiple times. We may use cookies to track website usage, such as the number of visits to a certain page, visitors’ entry and exit points, and details of activities and searches conducted with associated data. We may use cookies to maintain track of your transaction from one page to the next if you make a purchase. The cookie does not include any personal information and is not used for any other reason.
